Why We Chose It
We Didn’t Just Want an RV. We Needed a Home.
We started full-time RV life in August 2024 in a bunkhouse fifth wheel. It worked, until it didn’t. One room doing everything for four people has a shelf life, and after about a year on the road we hit it. School at the dinette, work calls in the truck, kids’ bikes taking up half the living area. Something had to change.
We spent months researching the switch to a toy hauler. In October 2025 we traded into the Axiom Vendetta 4250, and it’s been a different life since. The garage became the room that made everything else work: a schoolroom, a home office, guest bunks, gear storage. Two separate spaces for a family of four finally living like they have room to breathe.
What sealed it for us wasn’t just the floor plan. It was the build. Axiom is a full production RV manufacturer with dealers across the country, and they built the Vendetta to a spec you can feel. Low alloy steel construction, frameless tinted windows, the ClearSpan roofing system. And then there are the mini splits, which deserve their own section entirely.
Six months in, we still think it was the right call. This is the Axiom Vendetta 4250, and it’s home.

The First Production RV With Mini Splits. And You Feel It.
Most RVs cool from the roof down. A rooftop AC unit blasts air through a duct, and you live with it. Hot spots near the floor, cold spots near the ceiling, and a constant low roar that becomes background noise for your whole trip.
Axiom changed that. The Vendetta is the first production RV to come with a patent-pending triple mini split HVAC system as standard equipment. Three independent units, one for the living area, one for the bedroom, and one for the garage, each controlled separately. No roof AC units means the interior ceiling sits at 9 feet 10 inches. The system runs whisper quiet. And because each zone runs independently, the garage holds temperature all summer, which is the thing that makes actually living in the garage bay possible.
We didn’t fully appreciate this until we were in Yuma, Arizona and it was 107 degrees outside. Comfortable inside. That’s not nothing.

Common Questions
Axiom Vendetta: Questions We Get All the Time
What is the Axiom Vendetta 4250?
The Axiom Vendetta 4250 is a luxury toy hauler fifth wheel built by Axiom RV. It measures 47 feet 2 inches long with a 14-foot 6-inch garage, a GVWR of 27,000 pounds, and a dry weight of 21,885 pounds. The SP floor plan features a King bed, 65-inch TV, residential fridge, and the patent-pending triple mini split HVAC throughout. It’s the unit we live in full-time as a family of four.
Is the Axiom Vendetta good for full-time RV living?
Yes, and we say that from real experience. We started full-timing in August 2024 in a bunkhouse fifth wheel, then traded into the Axiom Vendetta 4250 SP in October 2025. The King bed, residential fridge, on-demand hot water, frameless windows, and 6-point hydraulic leveling make it feel like an actual house. The garage is what pushed it over the line for us. And the triple mini split system, one zone each for the living area, bedroom, and garage, is the reason it works in summer heat. Axiom was the first production RV manufacturer to put mini splits in as standard. You notice it the first time you set the garage to a different temp than the bedroom.
What truck do you need to pull an Axiom Vendetta?
The 4250 SP has a GVWR of 27,000 pounds and a pin weight of 3,775 pounds. You need a heavy-duty diesel truck that can handle that load. We pull ours with a Ram 3500 dually. Verify your tow vehicle ratings before you commit. Reach out here and we can point you toward the right people at Axiom for specific towing questions.
How big is the Axiom Vendetta garage?
The Axiom Vendetta 4250 SP has a 14-foot 6-inch garage. We don’t use ours for hauling toys. It functions as a schoolroom, home office, guest bunks, and gear storage depending on the week. The dedicated mini split zone keeps it comfortable year-round. There are also options for a front pass-through ramp door and pull-out tray depending on how you want to configure it.
What makes Axiom RV different from other toy haulers?
A few things stand out. First: the HVAC. Axiom was the first production RV manufacturer to put mini splits in as standard equipment. Three independent zones, patent-pending system, no rooftop units, 9-foot 10-inch interior ceilings. If you’ve ever dealt with a rooftop AC trying to cool a toy hauler garage in July, you understand why that matters. Second: the build. Low alloy steel construction that is 72 percent stronger than standard, ClearSpan roofing, frameless tinted windows, Pathfinder lighting with integrated turn signals. Axiom is a full production manufacturer with dealers across the country, and the quality holds up to real full-time use.
Do you recommend the Axiom Vendetta for families?
We do, with one honest caveat. At 47 feet, it’s a big rig. You have to be selective about campgrounds and comfortable maneuvering something that size. We pull ours with a Ram 3500 dually, and you need serious truck to move a loaded 4250. But for a family serious about full-time or extended RV life, the space and quality are hard to beat. We started in a bunkhouse in August 2024 and switched to the Vendetta in October 2025. We wished we’d done it sooner. We’re Axiom Ambassadors because we believe it.
